Pan Seared Sirloin with Sage Ghee
You don't need much to cook the perfect steak. Kick it up a notch with this herbed ghee.
Ingredients
- 1 PRE sirloin steak
- 4 tbsp. Tin Star ghee, room temperature
- 4 tsp sage, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
- 1/2 tsp. flake sea salt
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat cast iron skillet to medium-high heat
- Pat sirloin steak dry. Season with salt and oil.
- Place in hot pan. Sear on both sides for 3-4 minutes or until desired doneness. Remove and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients to ghee and combine thoroughly. Place in refrigerator to chill until needed.
- Top hot steak with a generous dollop of herbed ghee. Enjoy!
