Juicy Lucy Burger
A Chicago-classic: The juicy lucy, stuffed with white American cheese, this burger is not for the faint of heart!
Ingredients:
- 2 Pre 1/3 lb. burger patties
- Salt and pepper
- 2 slices white American cheese
- 2 sesame buns
Additional Toppings:
- Lettuce
- Sliced tomatoes
- Pickles
- Red onion, sliced thin
- Ketchup
- Pre-heat the grill to medium high heat.
- Pat each burger patty dry on all sides with a paper towel.
- Season each patty with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Slice each burger patty in half lengthwise.
- Cut 2 slices of cheese into quarters.
- Place 4 quarters of cheese on 2 of the halves.
- Gently press the remaining burger halves on top, sandwiching the cheese in the middle and pressing the sides together.
- Lay the patties on the grill and cook to desired doneness.
- Top with extra cheese and your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
